How does the media influence how our culture views art?
Since the beginning when Art was used in advertisements. Media has always had a big influence on how our culture views art. For some of us we let the media decide what is art. For example, Designer clothes are a form of art. The media has become who we go to to see what's in and in this case the art.
I agree with this pose in the most part, but i don't feel like media is who decides what art is. I feel that art is created by an artist and is art no matter what the media or other people view it as.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the media can have an influence on how we view art, but not that we let the media decide what art is. I also agree with your statement that the media influences our perspective on what we think is "in" and how we act as consumers.
