I think the statement is something relating to scientific phenomenons and unusual natural occurrences such as the solar eclipse and cloud over mt. st. helens. This could have used more blending of images and more work with selections.
Some of the images are put together great, but i feel like getting rid of the square grid would help your overall image. The other thing that could improve your image would be changing the color scheme to evoke different emotions.
What I see in your image are nature phenomenon, earth, unknown creature...Maybe your focus is exploration of the mystery of nature. While I think maybe you could use more blending to emphasis your idea by choosing the most important image.
