Artist Statement
My Big idea is The Unknown and I used the theme of nature and the universe. I wanted to show the relationship of Nature and Our universe by showing what our world could possibly look like somewhere else. I chose this because there are still some many unexplored places that could go completely different from what we normally believe. To show this I used different masks in an animation to show the changes that we aren’t used to. This animation should be used to let people think more about our universe and nature.
You did a fantastic job creating animation. You very clearly get your big idea across and I like how you incorporated your midterm project and expanded on it. Your use of color is very creative and works very well with the theme. Awesome use of a variety of photoshop techniques. Overall, it looks like you spent a lot of time on it and it looks great.
ReplyDeleteThis video really shows a major change in the image. This representing the change that world would experience in different planets is a really cool idea. I like how the alien pops in and out and seems to be watching over the image. IT gives a feel as if the aliens are there but unable to be seen. You showed your big idea very clearly and used a variety of techniques we have learned throughout the quarter.
ReplyDeleteI think the animation you created is awesome and it really can express your big idea--Unknown about nature very well. From the changing colors in your animation, the changing opacity of the "creature" in the animation, I could see that you have used various photoshop techniques. Anyway, I like it and you did a good job!
